Office Ready
When dressing up to the workplace, I’m all about comfort yet, I want to look well put together. As most of you know, I’m a mom so life is crazy as it is…With that being said, I’ve learned to prep my looks the night before so that I’m not going crazy figuring out what to wear the morning of. So for today’s post, I thought I’d share a couple of tips on how you can get ready for the office without trying so hard.
Black Bottoms
Whether you go for pants or a skirt, you can never go wrong with black. It’s a basic color and super easy to style. You can pair it with a sweater, button down shirt, or a stripe top just like I did.
Shoes
Remember, you don’t always have to go with the plain look. Just make sure you are following your company’s dress code and think outside the box – Go with mule-flats! I have yet to wear this style to the office but I will definitely be rocking this in the near future! *Tip: Go with another color besides black.
Jewelry
Did you see my post on what jewelry to wear to the workplace? Adding a statement necklace or pretty stud earrings to your outfit can take it from simple to dressy, which is what you want!
