My Personal Goals for 2018
My first post of the year, yay! I’m trying to start the new year right but the struggle is real, friends. My family and I are fighting a nasty cold and it’s just lingering too long but hey, the show must go on. I told myself this year I’m not going with new year resolutions but rather focus on personal goals I would like to achieve. So without further ado, here are my three goals for the year.
I will be 36 yrs old this year so staying healthy and working out is on my top list. I have a 21 month old who emulates everything I do so it’s really important I set the standard from the get-go. I’ve been a loyal customer of healthy prep meals from Healthy-Momma so at least I can check that off the list; however, it’s the working out that needs more attention. Momma’s got to keep up with the little one, ya know what I mean? I’ve heard so many bloggers talk about the BBG fitness program (the app is, “Sweat”) so I am definitely going to check it out since I don’t have time to hit the gym.
Working a full-time job, having a pre-toddler, and wife duties is a lot but this year I want to expand my options and do more blogging, no excuses! I love sharing my tips with y’all whether it’s fashion, home décor, or mommy life…you name it, I am sharing! I definitely want to think outside the box and try new things that are out of my comfort zone. Fear is not an option.
I long for those days where I could finish a book in one or two days but let’s be real…I just don’t have the time. However, I am making it a priority to read more this year. I need, “ME” time. I miss reading books and just relaxing whether it be one or two hours a day. It’s important to take care yourself even though life is a little cray-cray.
All-in-all, I’m starting the year with a positive attitude and thinking of what’s really important in life – health, family, and being sane. What are some of your goals this year? Please share below!
