Yellow for Us
Today is the first day of Endometriosis Awareness Month in the United States, so in honor of this awareness I proudly hold my yellow purse, which is the color of the awareness. For those of you who do not know what endometriosis is, please read here. I promise not to overwhelm you with a lot of words but I would like to share with you my personal experience with this disease. I was diagnosed in 2004 with endometriosis and since then, I’ve had two surgeries’ to alleviate the pain. My husband and I have been together for six years and we will be married two years in April. We have been trying for the last year to conceive and it has been very difficult. I know many women can relate to what I am going through, and I just want to let you know you are not alone. Although there is no cure at this time, I still hold on to hope that one day the hubby and I will have a little bundle of joy.
Good luck to you! I may not know the pain of endometriosis but I do know pain in a different but similar light.
Thanks hun! I hope it happens soon! 🙂
This must have been so hard to write because it brought a tear to my eye reading it…..praying that it all works out for you guys soon 🙂
