Office Make-up

Style tip: Try to prepare your outfits the day before, that way you are not feeling rushed and overwhelmed in the mornings.
Whether you work at a corporate office or a laid back office, the best make-up tip I can give you is the one that enhances your natural beauty. If you don’t like to wear make-up, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that; however, I recommend looking as natural as you can while at the same time accentuating your best feature. You don’t have to stand out from the crowd, just have enough make-up where you look professional and well put together.
Lips: Go with a color that matches your natural lip color. I love the blissful berry and fuchsia lipstick from Maybelline. You can apply the lipstick once and not make it too harsh and bold.
Cheeks: Apply enough blush to show you are awake and glowing without over doing it.
Eyes: Who said you can’t do a soft Smokey eye? Yes you can. Something like the photo above would be perfect. You can substitute the wing eyeliner with a softer black eyeliner, whichever you prefer. I use the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, which has plenty of neutral colors appropriate for the office, but any neutral palette is just fine.

I rarely wear any eyeshadow anymore, but I love these neutral smoky eyes. Some day I'll learn to blend and such…
